Finally, we are safe!On behalf of the founding steering committee and our volunteers, we are proud to announce on October 11, National Coming Out Day, we will launch SAFE, Sandpoint Alliance For Equality, at Bluebird Bakery, 5:30-7:30pm. SAFE is a Pride-inspired nonprofit to be led by LGBTQ people for queer, trans, and allies to meet our need for belonging and recognition, to turn that Pride Day feeling of safety, freedom, and belonging into a year-round experience — not just once a year. We expect it to be a way of life. Join us to learn more about the vision and the ways we can co-create a community of inclusion. Share your ideas and dreams about the future for LGBTQ people in Sandpoint and the greater Bonner and Boundary area.
